This two-story frame building was the home of the Globe Theatre from March until September, 1882. On March 20th, 1882, the local schools were suspended for an afternoon matinee. The night performance from 8p.m. until 2a.m. grossed $1,500.00.
The lower level of this building was used by Green & Powell Grocery.
