We see in this 1881 photo, the two-story building behind the dry goods sign, was a drug store. This was one of five buildings that burned down in the 1902 on the south-west end of the 100 N Main Block.
This building was then re-built in 1902 after the fire, and was used as a dry goods store until 1906, when George L. Miller and his wife Susie sold furniture out of here. In 1908 he sold to Sylvester Miller (no relation).
