Built in 1882
Built in 1882 by two men from Topeka, KS, Gavett & Scott. In 1886, there were 3 saloons on the first floor, and rooms for the Odd Fellows, Woodmen of the World, and Law Offices all on the 2nd floor.
1890 - There were 2 Saloons, a Restaurant, and a Grocery on the first floor and sleeping rooms on the 2nd floor.

1896 - There was a General Store, Furnishings Store, a Millinery Store, and a Bookstore on the 1st floor, and Offices
            and Lodge Rooms on the 2nd floor.

1910 - Building builder Scott bought out his partner Gavett. There was a Furniture Store, Hardware Store, and
            Tobacco & Cigar Factory on the 1st floor. Scott then sold the building to Joe Voutaz, who then converted the
            building into a 26-Room Hotel.
1922 -  Mrs. Susie Miller opened a Rug Store in the Hotel Lobby.
             Mrs. Miller was also Gunnison County's first undertaker.
1926 - Listed as Hotel Columbine, the 1st floor had 2 Stores, the
            Hotel Lobby, and a Plumbing Store.  The City of Gunnison
            Town Hall and Fire Station was also located at this
            property.
1945 - Joe Voutaz then sold the building to a A.O. McDonald, who
            then had Mountain Construction Co. of Gunnison re-model
            all the 1st floor west of the Hotel Lobby. A re-model was
            also done west of the Hotel Lobby in 1958.
1971 - Frank & Mrs. Neta Giambalde became the new owners.
1989 - Richard became the new owner.
