First built in 1881, and was where F.D. Steele's Hardware was located. County records state another building construction in 1898, then the Sanborn Map shows the lot vacant in 1926.
In 1936, this building was labeled as a store, followed up in the 1940's as "Lashbrook's Fishing Tackle".
In 1953, the building is shown as "Elmer's Sporting Goods".
