In 1896, this location housed an office and barber shop, then in 1902 a saloon and barber shop, and a cigar/pool hall and barber shop in 1910.
A newer building was constructed in 1926, with two unidentified stores. In the 1940's, the building's namesake, "Jack's Cafe", operated here until, 1952, when the "U and Me Cafe" moved in.
